Home Sweet Homeshare Local Matchmaking License is a business opportunity for SRES® agents and REALTORS® who want predictable, recurring monthly income.
Make the most of your time spent with senior homeowners.
How a few hours a month compound into steady income
You could make up to $48,000 extra per year.

How It Works
As a SRES Realtor, you're already meeting with senior homeowners regularly. This is one more option for you to offer after they have chosen not to opt for all the other options you've presented.
1. Source
You tap your existing network—even past potential clients who opted not to use you— to find senior homeowners who live alone with a spare room. You also capture those renters who are looking for reasonable rent options.
We provide simple email templates to start the conversation with both sides.
2. Match
We capture over 20lifestyle details and feed them back to you. You meet each side, confirm the fit, and together set the house rules and chores to be done.
Home Sweet Homeshare runs the background checks, handles the legal paperwork, insurance, and processes rent payments.
3. Earn
Every month, the tenant pays online via auto-debit. No chasing around checks.
The homeowner gets their share, and you receive $100 per active match per month. If you've made a good match, this monthly payment can last for years.
This opportunity isn't for everyone. The more of the following criteria below that you meet, the better chance you have at being successful with Home Sweet Homeshare.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about becoming a Local Matchmaking Licensee of Home Sweet Homeshare.
Can I keep listing and selling real estate?
Yes.
Most matchmaking licensees run Home Sweet Homeshare alongside their normal business.
How much time does it really take?
You decide how often you work. Work as much or as little as you want. However, for top-earning agents we anticipate about 10 hours per month.
Plan on 4 hours per match up-front to get the households matches up and running. Plus, about 15 minutes per month per match to check in on existing matches.
What if a match falls apart?
Life happens.
We mediate first. If either party ends the agreement, you help rematch and continue earning on the new placement or make a commission on helping the senior downsize.
Is this a franchise?
No.
There are no upfront franchise fees, royalties, or monetary investment on your part. Home Sweet Homeshare is a licensing model. You hold a license to use Home Sweet Homeshare's logo, legal documents, and tech stack.
How much can I really earn?
Much of this depends on how many senior homeowners you interact with every month.
But as an example, if you sign up 2 senior homeowners per month, after 18 months, you would have 36 matches generating $1,200 per year each. That would translate into $43,200 in extra annual income per year for about 10 hours of work per month.
Do I need special insurance?
Your existing E&O covers advisory work. We supply an umbrella general liability policy that protects you during home visits.
